MAKSB TOURS Is a tour guide organization providing service to tourists for sea excursion,snorkelling whale sharks viewing and historic places visiting in MAFIA Island We provide personalized services in worm and swahili friendly atmosphere. LOCATION Mafia Island lies in the Indian Ocean, 120 kilometers South-East of Dar Es Salaam, the capital of Tanzania. Mafia is an archipelago of islands, and the main island is surrounded by small islet ringed by coral garden.

HOW TO GET THERE; (1) There are scheduled flights from Dar Es salaam. Charter flight are also available from Dar Es salaam, Zanzibar and other towns in Tanzania (2) There are also vehicles trans from Dar Es Salaam at Mbagala country bus terminal to Nyamisati port, where there is a regular boat to MAFIA island

WHERE TO STAY With an array of open vans and station wagon vehicles, Maksb tours ferries tourists from Air and sea ports at Kilindoni to hotels such as Butiama lodge a few kilometers away and Ras Mbizi some kilometers north; and those in the Marine Park area in the Eastern part of Mafia Island such as Mafia Island Lodge Pole Pole and Kinasi.There are also decent guest houses around Kilindoni township.

WHERE TO VIST MAFIA is a historic, cultural and natural where ruins, monument forest do exist they are attractive and educative Such places include ;Chole mjini on Chole island, Kua on Juani island,Kisimani Mafia (Ras Kisimani), Mkunga na Mwali,Mnarani at Bweni(Bweni lighthouse), Jiwe la fatuma(Bweni),Kidundani wells in Mlola forest, Panga, Kijiwe Nyara and Jiwe la Kalingwa. Natural site include, Mlola forest(Northen part of Mafia island) Chole bay with abundant fish entering ,Sefu,Al Hadjiri andTereni Reefs where whale sharks are sited during South East monsoons.
